WEEK FROM HELL!

Oh MY God! I have had the week from HELL! I was out last Monday b/c
of my trip to New York. LOVED IT! Had a blast. Will have to tell
you about it later. Then Stinker Bell got sick at school and I had to
bring her home. I knew she was sick that morning but she was not
running a temp. So I felt real bad when her teacher brought her to my
room b/c she was trowing up. So that was Mon. and Fri. that I was out
last week. This past Monday we had a field trip to Maymont. It was
mostly good. I had a student that had to go home in the middle of the
trip b/c she was so bad. In 9 years of teaching I have never had that
happen. Let's see, Tuesday, I had a sub for half a day b/c I had a
child study meeting with 13 people. ( about one child) I had to go to
a workshop all day Wednesday. That means they had a sub in my class.
Thursday, I get to school just cursing subs. My Sub Wed. sent home
all the work they did. Including part of my mom's day project. She
also did not follow my plans and used all the extra worksheets I had
for the rest of the week. :P. I was upset telling all the parents
that I would not be out again. That was 8:00. At 9:00 my son's
daycare called, he had a 102 fever and needed to be picked up. So I
called mom, turns out she was on her way to the dr. Her blood persure
was too high and they told her to come in. That meant I had to go
get him. Yet another sub in my class. My poor class has no idea what
to do. They have been just awful b/c I have not been there and they
have had different subs all week. Next week better go better.
How many days until the end of school 30? Too long. I am ready for
summer.
