This is what I am seeing," The Aristocrates"! This looks so Fucking funny! And yes, I did use that word. If you were offended by it this is not the movie for you.
" The Aristocrates" is a movie with 100+ comedians that tell the dirtiest joke. This joke is funny not b/c of the punch line but b/c of the middle part of the joke. It is nasty and graphic but it has no nudity, or violence. It is just the good old days nasty joke.
here are some of the things others are saying about this movie. "If you've ever heard of Pat robertson being a defibrillator?-Vanity Fair. "Filthy,furioysly funny."-Premiere
I want to go to this movie. I love most of these comedians. Bob Saget, Gilbert Goffry, Woopie Goldburg, Drew Carey, ect. Come lets go set it on the calendar and we will all head up to DC. Let me know and I will get the tickets.

The bed that still is not mine
This one is for Jeff.
Today's asshole is Value City Furniture. Here is the story. Although, I need to tell you a little background information.
Ok. Not too many people know this story. When I left my ex-husband, I did not take the bed. (You imagine why) So for the first month or 2 I slept on the floor with a bunch of blankets. Then, I got an air mattress. I slept on that for almost a year and a half. I brought a box spring and mattress with a bonus we got. No bed frame. I just put them on the floor. When I moved to Richmond my mom gave me a bed frame so I was finally off the floor. So over the last 2 years I have been looking at different types of beds and wanting one.
About 2 weeks ago I notice that "American Signature" had changed. It was now a Value City Furniture. So, I went in to look around and found out they were selling off all the American Signature pieces.
When my grandmother moved here from California I help her pick out and set up her new bedroom suite. I got the dresser and nightstand when she died. They were American Signature pieces. (my sitter got the bed) I thought, "If they have a good price on a bed that matches I might get it." I went in 3 days in a row to look and go back and see my room. I even took Ms. Jill, my mom, and some of my nick nacks to see if it would match my bed. I decided that it was a good deal and I would get it. I went to pay for it and was told I can pick it up in 3 weeks. Damn, I wanted to take it home today. I asked if I could have the floor model and was told no. I went home happy that I was going to get a bed but I would have to wait 3 weeks for it.
I went in again last Sat to show Sean what I got. I looked and looked and looked. It was no longer there. So I went and asked about it and was told they moved it to another part of the store. That did not sound right to me. I wanted to check on my bed. I had a feeling something was wrong. I asked about my bed and when it would be in. Jason checked in the computer then picked up the phone and called the manager. I heard Jason tell the manager about my bed and that the computer was showing none avablible.
Shit! They sold my bed. They took my money and sold my bed to someone else. I was pissed. I was told by Jason that they could not get any more Ash furniture. I was also told that VC was changing the finish on that bed and the new one should be in next week. I was told they would give me that bed instead of the one I wanted. I was pissed. Then manager never came by to see me. He just did not care his people took my $ and sold my bed to someone else.
On the way out I snapped at everyone who tried to sell me anything. I was not a happy camper.
I am not sure what I am going to do. I want to take the money and run. But I really want a bed that matches my bedroom. Now, I am not sure where that leaves me. BUT I do know I am without a bed again.

I have some great Friends!
So, the kidos are off for 3 weeks. I am was so sad. ok, maybe that was a slight understatement. I cried for almost 3 hours. I am worried that Mark will run off with the kids and I will never see them again. Not to mention that I think he is trying to brainwash them. But that is a diferent story.
I received many calls last night. From all sorts of friends. Everyone offering support and good cheer. For those of who who did not call I still could feel your thoughts were with me. I have to say the best call came from a fine goup of friends who went to the outerbanks last week. They called and talked to me for hours. Making me laugh and at one point almost peeing in my pants. I felt loved and cherished and possibly a little drunk myself. (I had no alcohol)
And to top my evening off Sean Came down from NoVa! I was not supposed to see him this weekend. He did surprise me greatly! (Ok, improper English I know but hey, I like ending a sentence with an adverb)
Thank you to everyone I talked to yesterday! You made me feel very loved, cherished,important and supported. I love you all!

Last Week With The Kids
This is the last week with my kids for the summer. They are going to see their dad for 3 weeks. After that I have to go to work for Kindergarten stuff. The week after that I have 3 days of workshops with the whole school. Then school starts for me. So this feels like my last week of summer.
I have been enjoying this past week. I have taken the kids to the pool and tried to teach them to the swim. They are getting better. Ms. G will only go under the water with googles. Mr. A is a little to daring. He is the one who will give me most of my gray hair. It has been fun. The kind of thing I remember doing as a kids in the summer.
Next week I am afraid I will feel empty. I am not sure what to do with 3 weeks to myself. I have not been without the kids for more than a week for over 6 years.
I am thinking I might go on the river this weekend and I am going to try to go to work with lanie for a day. I have always wanted to go digging in the woods. After that I am not so sure what I am going to do to fill my time. Anyone else have a good or ineresting jobs I can tag along and check out?
So next post, I will have to tell you about the toothless wonder and the nice cop. Good story just long.

Hi There!
Mark had the kids this weekend. So I went to the beach for Lanie and Sean's birthday. ok I need to back up and explain a few things.
First, I had seen this pj set I loved. I really liked the nightgown better but the set was cute and more particle. I had not gotten it b/c it was too much. The next day I learned we were going to have Pajama day at school. I needed good PJ's. Then I remembered I had a gift card. The card (+$7) was enough for both the PJ set and nightgown. I got both! Yeah! Good for me.
The second thing you need to know is, I had a head ache all last week. I got very little sleep all week b/c of it. I was not sleeping b/c of the headache and I had the headache b/c I couldn't sleep. It was an alligator eating it's tail.
So back to the beach. After shopping all day at with the girls and seeing the movie "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" I went to bed early. I still had the head ach from hell. Every time I woke up my head hurt worst. So I after I threw up I decided to go to the ER in the outer Banks. You know the hospital that only has 8 beds. I would not know, I never got to see a bed. I was in a room with this 1/2 bed thing. Like the kind you need to birth a baby. Let me tell you how much fun that was. I could not get comfortable. After I convinced this very cute Dr. that I did not have a tumor. He told me I would get a shot in the butt for the pain and another one for nausea.
As I am waiting and waiting for the drugs. Sean says "at least you are wearing your cute pj's." He was right I was wearing the new pj set. I looked cute. Then I realized I was wearing underwear with Elmo on the front and on the ass says "hi there"! Great so when the nurse went to give me the shot she was greeted with "HI There". At least I looked cute on the outside. And I know I gave most of the ER a laugh. Not to mention Sean telling everyone the next day about the underwear!

A Sad World
I have had a hard time trying to blog lately. I do not know why, I can tell you about the weekend at the beach. Or I can tell you about the ass of an ex-husband mark is being. I can tell you about the kids and the baseball game. But I don’t.
I woke up this morning to news of London being attacked and a huge accident on 95 just north or just south of Fredricksburg. 2 state troopers and 2 citizens being taken to the hospital. When did life get so sad? When did death and destruction get to be common place? I do not want my kids to grow up thinking that terrorism and bombs are the normal everyday life. I am upset with the acceptance of the attacks and nonchalant attitudes that all of this is ok and doesn't effect us on a personal level.
So I have to tell them how some people believe it is ok to hurt and kill others b/c they are what jealous?, sad?, lonely?, for revenge? , for religious reasons? What is a good reason to hurt another human being?
I am going to the kids by army post and let them know the “Army Guys” and the Police men are keeping us safe from those who wanted to hurt us.
