Out Of The Frying Pan And Into The Fire

Well believe it or not, I had a good weekend. Everything I had planned
to do got cancelled. I really did not mind. I enjoyed the time I
spent with my kids. They gave me some movies, a flip flop (no not
Karry) and made a cup and saucer for me. It was wonderful. Even if it
was 6:15 in the morning.
My mom ended up not going to see Granny. She was in the ER from 2am
until almost 3pm when the took her to a room. She needed some test
done on Monday and maybe have surgery. Monday when I called to see how
she was doing I was told they found a tumor. I went to see her and she
seems to be doing fine. The whole family is doing fine. I think we
are all in shock. It was not a possibility they were talking about on
Sunday.
So now she is doing even more test to make sure they know all the can
know before they do the surgery for the tumor and the original problem.
So my mom right now as I type is getting a glow in the dark die enema.
I would rather deal with my runner than to have that done.
To top my day off yesterday, I go to pick up my son and he has 102.2
fever. SHIT! Not again. I took him to Patient First. After 2 hours
they told me he had an ear infection and strep throat. And He could
not go to school Tuesday. FUCK ME! I have missed too many days.
After calling everyone including my brother, my sweetheart in N.Va said
he could take him for the day. That could work if I could get Grace
from the east end and get him there. So at 9ish last night I was
heading north. Thank goodness I only had to drive to Fredricksburg and
back. I would not have made it if I had to drive any further I would
not have made it. Hey on the bright side, I found the cheapest gas
in all of VA. WAWA gas exit 130A had gas for $1.97/gal. OH MY GOD I
filled up for $22.00. I will fill up again when I get back tonight
from picking the sick one up. OH the joys of being a single mom.

I will try to keep everyone posted on how everything is going. I will
need more time to learn and be able to play with the picture part of
blogging. So it might be a long time before you see any good pictures
of me. Although, I understand Mr. R has a very funny one of me on his
site. Go check it out.
