Kids are wonderful!

My kids are just the greatest. yesterday they were sick. So putting them to bed last night was hard. They wanted to cuddle and get another hug and one last kiss. I know they would say just about anything to stay up a little longer but how can you say no to "one last hug and kiss. I want I big hug mommy, not a wimpy hug." Thanks Aunt J. No whimpy hugs around my house.

They are feeling better. Which is good b/c we are heading out to the beach in a day! I need the time away from all the drama around my life. I could use a little less in my life. I would love to have a very boring life.

For those of you who do not know, I am mostly a rule follower. I hate conflict and I try not to get mad at people b/c in the long run it really doesn't matter. With all this said if I do get mad at someone and let them know it is a big deal. Well, this happened at work this week. Now my whole team is upset with me b/c I got mad at 2 people. (for a really good reson). There are 6 teachers on my team, And now I feel it is 5 against 1. Which may keep me from teaching kindergarten next year. Or I may just be the biggest B, and make them work with me again. :) Either way we all (them and me) need to just get over it. People get mad with each other. It is just life. I have enough drama with my exhusband, I do not need it with my team.

ok, I have to end this post on a good note. I have to go get ready b/c I have a lunch date! :) And this evening I am having dinner with KB and her family! I have not seen her in over 10 years. She was in Germany for a long time. I will let you know how dinner and lunch is later!

She got me here. And even walked me through my links! She is wonderful!
This is the second or third thing she has gotten me to do. The first was whitewater rafting! LOVE IT! Oh my god was that 3 years ago?! About 6 weeks ago she got me to try rolling in a kayak. She took me to the pool, put me in a kayak, then told her uncle to teach me. (I thought I was going just for moral sopport.) I can now roll a kayak. She can too! Although, I am a chicken shit and will never use it in real water.
She just knitted me a bikini! I hope it fits. I will get to try it on Wed.
To top it off she is letting me date her cousin. My advice is to never date your best friend's cousin. Do as I say not as I do.
And to think I didn't talk to you for how long? I was stupid!

spring is here or is it?

I hate the cold weather! I want spring! I want warm days and cool nights. I want to think about swimming and enjoying the outside. Right now it is just cold and raining. I am a little upset b/c I am on spring break, damn it. On the up side, the kids are enjoying it! I let them play out side in the rain for a little bit. It got to cold for them so they came in. We go to the beach in a few days so they will get more time to play outside. I can not wait!
