weekend special
well, I know I have missed a lot this week. My computer changed it's password on me. (I swear it hates me) Thanks M., I luv my TST, He fixed it and reset my password and now I am not locked out of my computer. I do not know what I would do with out him. He fixes all my little problems. Computer! Really, what were you thinking?
So, with that little bit done I need to tell you about my weekend. Not too bad for the most part. If you do not count Sunday.
Friday, after a long ass meeting at school to tell me I need to put a behavior plan together for one of my students. I went home to find a very nice visitor there. It made my night. Even if he was sick and got me sick. It was nice to have him come down.
On Saturday, rag-a-muffin had her birthday party at Ben Franklin. I was worried no one would show up. I only knew 2 kids who were coming. So the worried parent in me just wasnted to die if her party was going to be a flop. As it turned out everyone had a good time. And my little girl loved it! Thank You to all 5 adults who help make it wonderful! I love ya!
On Sunday I was going to go on the river. The ex was going to enjoy the day with the kids. but b/c he was late he was mad at me. He called every 10 min. to bitch me out. He filled up both my voicemails. I went to pick the kids back up at 5 and the nut was not there. 15 minutes later, Ms. G calls me and says they are in Ashland. I ask to speak to her dad and the phone goes dead. I tried to call back but no answer. So I start to get worried. Visions of G telling me "daddy is going to take us far, far away and we won't see mommy again." Then the little boy calls me saying the same thing "we are in Ashland." but I still can't get the nut on the phone. When I do end up talking to the nut, he tells me he has no idea where he was. Somewhere across from target at a McD's. I get out of him that he is across from VA Center Commons. I go get them and the nut is pissed b/c I have someone with me. After that, he called 5 times to bitch at me. He tried to tell me b/c The little one has a bruise on his forhead I need to take him to the Dr. and make sure he doesn't have a concussion. I told him if he thought Mr. A needed to go why didn't he take him on Sunday.
After trying to talk nicely to Mark I get mad at him b/c he told me "now you know what it is like not to be able to get the kids."
What an asshole.
Well, that was my weekend.

can this work?
ok! I know it has been a long time. But it is not entirely my fault. I did try to post before today but ran into problems. I wanted to tell everyone about the beach I had this whole cute thing about the "Are we there YET?" but then I lost it. I guess I will just have to tell you about Boogers in the sugar, later.(anyne who went to HH Harbour as a kid will know what I am talking about.) I am a cool mom. One day my kids will know it too.
The first week back at school was so busy it felt more like 2. I had meetings, meetings, and more meetings. I did not leave school before 5. That may not sound to late to some of you, but when you get to school at 7:10ish, that is a long day. Hey I can make it sound worst. I leave my house at 6:30am and got home last week after 6pm. Long ass day when you have to cook dinner and get 2 kids ready for bed and the next day. We did have a lot of easy dinners, mac and cheese, steak-ums, and meatloaf. Some weeks I feel like an awful mom. Then I think I could always be worst, at least my kids ate dinner. Although if you ask them, they would rather not eat.
The other thing I ws going to write about was my guilty pleasure of watching golf on tv. Yes, I can admitt it. I think I like watching it b/c my grandfather use to love to watch it all the time. I think it is the only thing he really watched on tv. So from time to time, when nothing eles is on, I will turn golf on and watch. I even yell and get excited about it. That is what happened this weekend. I even got to watch Tiger make that beutiful shot on 16. Then, miss the shot on 18. Chris did give him a good run for his money it was so close. Then Tiger missed the shot on 18 and the green jacket goes to... playoff. What a great way to end an awsome game. For those of you who care and have not heard, Tiger is wearing that green jacket. :) I knew he would.
This week I have been getting ready for rag-a-muffin's b-day! Can you beleive she is already 6. WOW! She is going to have a party with her friends on Sat. I think there will be more adults there then kids. My kids are very lucky, they are very well loved.
So now I am off to bake a cake. I am not a very good cook. So this should be a mess. I am trying to do a barbie doll cake. Wish me luck. I need it for the cake to be edible. Well at least this one is just for family. Who cares if I give them food poisoning.

Can we say Idiot?
So, I tried, and tried to post something on my blog when I finally just got so mad at my computer I threw it across the room. Ok maybe not across the room. but closed the top and gave up. I did not think to check to see if I was doing somthing wrong. As it turned out, I was. I was publishing my post without typing anything. I guess I can not use the quick keys I like using. Live, Learn, Get Older. I think I have that last part down pat. So for the whole whopping 2 people who read this forgive me. I am not very good at this whole thing. I promise to learn to post pictures. Soon!
