Is there anything that is more summer than catching Lighting Bugs? Or is it fireflies? I spent an hour outside braving the other bugs, watching my kids enjoy this time honored tradition. The fireflies love my yard. We got about 35 in a big jar. Just a little hint for other firefly catchers, If you hold the jar upside down they will not get out. Ok one or two might but they go to the top of the jar they are in. It was fun seeing the pure joy on the kids faces. Tonight made me feel like a kid again. I loved it. Yes, Angie, I had the camera and got some good pictures.
So go out and be a kid. See how many you can catch!

Leia went for a lightning bug when Rob and I took her for a walk last night...she was being a kid!
